BUILDER’S LOG NOVEMBER 6, 2021: Here is a photograph of one of our log home builders cutting the lateral groove in one of the logs. This groove was previously marked using a scribing pencil so as to ensure a tight match between stacked logs.

BUILDER’S LOG OCTOBER 27, 2021: In this photo we see logs being landed on shims to allow for a rough scribe. After the rough scribe has been cut out, the log is returned to the stack for final scribing and then final cutting.
